Any ideas?

Be they classical, piratical, theatric or just plain idiotic.

Oh, and on that note, from Wiki:

"The origins of the term "Jolly Roger" are unclear.

One theory is that it comes from the French term "joli rouge," ("pretty red") which the English corrupted into "Jolly Roger". This may be likely as there were a series of "red flags" that were feared as much, or more, than "black flags". The origin of the red flag is likely that English privateers flew the red jack by order of the Admiralty in 1694. When the War of Spanish Succession ended in 1714, many privateers turned to piracy and some retained the red flag, for red symbolized blood. No matter how much seamen dreaded the black pirate standard all prayed they never encountered the joli rouge. This red flag boldly declared the pirates' intentions: no life would be spared. No quarter given, none asked."

It's... well, they call it "Night Armor". It's not quite black. Y'know the color on the stealth fighter? They copied that. If y'dunno what that is, it's a dark, dark grey.

Kinda like that. It's matte, too - doesn't reflect light.

Stealthy non-black makes me go Winstanleigh or Vetinari, but that's a fairly obscure Discworld reference so I doubt it would float your boat unless you happen to like the sound of one of the names.

Mythological figures... Hermes, Hector, Thor... My mythology book is letting me down on Scottish characters. I might look for more tomorrow.

If you're inclined toward a female name, there's Atalanta. 'Cause she was all fast and stuff. Or Rhiannon, which I just like. (Welsh character, associated with horses, kept birds whose singing was supposed to be able to wake the dead and put the living to sleep.)

Retarded ideas curtesy 3 am: Batman, The Not-Actually-Black Pearl, The Two Faced Testosterone Avenger Mobile, The Tormentor, Transportation Noir, The African Queen, The Prince William Queen...

Or Bob. Bob is a good name.

(And what does KMFDM mean? Or was that meant for someone else?)

You should name it something from Macbeth... Macduff was pretty stealthy. Donalbain's an excellent name (one of Duncan's son's). Lennox... I dunno. Lots of good names in Macbeth.

I am also being reminded of Batman. Look @ Batman names.

Or you could always name it something like... Ethel or... Rosalita...

"Badbh."

Badbh is the name of a figure in Celtic mythology! It's a crow with a bloodstained rope around its neck. He flies over battlefields, looking for dead people to eat. Sometimes, he hangs around a man (unnamed) who has one leg, one arm, one eye, and a roast pig (which is still squealing) tied to his back.
Also, Badbh is a symbol of imminent defeat.

Now if your car was red, I'd suggest the Morrigan.
